@mariobarrientos6725 Imagine getting your first pen at Stamford bridge in 17 seasons amd someone actually going out their way to begrudge it. Not to mention how often HowardWebb usually favours Chelsea and has denied ManUtd many a stonewall pen at OldTrafford vs Chelsea prior to this game.

Rooney was a great player .. Phenomenal! .. he was one who always worked for the team .. sacrificed himself to fit other players in the team .. didn't always play in his preferred positions .. still produced remarkable performances week in week out! .. isn't mentioned in the brackets with the other greats only because he wasn't selfish! .. played for the team .. My greatest player of all time .. WAZZA!

I saw the entire match on pltv and though you dominated Ashley Young was super complacent, he was doing skills, showboating and constantly losing the ball, then Fergie didn't bring him back after 1st half and brought Chicharito, Park and Scholes who totally controlled the game for United switching Giggs to Young's left wing, it was pure tactical genius from Sir Alex not chance.

That's the only problem with games as epic as this. So much goes on with the twists and turns that some things get a bit lost in translation over the years and the one for me in this game is that save from De Gea. I grew up in awe of Peter Schmeichel as a kid while everyone was wooing away at our outfield players but i still think that is probably one of the most unbelievable saves I've ever seen. It was genuinely ridiculous.
