3:06 I love how Cavani is sprinting to track back playing the full 95 minutes and Rashford is leisurely jogging back having subbed on for 30 minutes. Rashford could learning a thing or two from Cavani.

I understand your point dude! And we actually think the same way! But sometimes tactics apply differently, if you noticed Cavani tracks back the ball, and adds support to the defense squad, Rashford being faster stays up. Also Martial drops to midfield. In case of any counter attack, they probably talk to themselves, for these type of situations. They recovered the ball and went right back with a powerful counterattack that resulted in a goal! If we talk about counterattack Rashford is the fastest player! So he must stay up there! But I think that’s why he stops every time! He lets the rest defend and waits for the ball! We have seen it many many times before Rashford has scored his best goals from counterattacks! But I get your point and it is also right!

Pogba and Matic were immense in the middle of the pitch today. This is an Everton team that had just beaten Chelsea, Leicester and Arsenal on the spin yet they couldn't get a kick in the middle of the pitch. This was a very tactical game and we came up trumps thanks largely to the midfield. Bailly was also superb in defense. I was worried about Yerry Mina scoring a header as Maguire can't jump on corner kicks but Bailly took care of him.

@Aaron Stubbs , you have obviously not been watching him at corner kicks in our box have you? I am talking about defending corners not attacking corners. He only stands still and shoves the closest player to him which includes his own players. Always grabbing onto other players in the box risking penalties. Go watch highlights of our games and see for yourself. He is the reason we concede so many goals from corner kicks. Watch the first goal by Leeds last Sunday scored by Cooper. Focus on Maguire for that goal and you will get what I'm saying.

The difference today was the defense wasn’t shaky nor leaky. Maguire and Lindelof should not start together. Bailly is a better complement to Harry, let’s hope Eric stays healthy and avoids Red cards 🤣, I know that’s too much to ask for.

I think everyone has been sat down a little, including myself, when it comes to the transfer window. We didn't get the player that most wanted in Sancho. But other than that United bought very well. VDB is a very solid and technical addition to midfield. Telles looks likes he's been playing at United a decade. From what I've seen of Pellestri so far in our youth system, he is looking very promising and young Traore is being talked about as being a special player for the future. But Cavani was the one that got a lot of anger aimed at him (by a few) but mainly at the board, simply for how we went about the deal and how long it took. But the guy is absolutely world class. His intelligence and movement is up there with the best 2 or 3 in the world imo. A world class centre-back in January and we push on, try and get a trophy and keep as close to that top spot in the league until the last game of the season. You just never know what could happen.
