Semi-finals were always special at a neutral ground. I've seen Utd at Goodison and Maine Road in semi's. The original game was great, but you could never beat the atmosphere of an evening reply. Especially if your team won. So much better then today's sterile wembley and mega grounds. Maine Road was something special on semi-final day

Giggs' goal was out of this world - but Beck's strike often gets overshadowed because of that. It was a superb strike by him too.

At its peak performance level, this team is unbeatable at club level. Perhaps matched only by the consistency of 2009-11 Barcelona team and 2023 Man City team I think. But I would rate the explosiveness of this Man Utd side higher.
