Eriksen's become United's "missing link". He's so very exceptional at sitting low, finding space and linking up the play between the back 4 and the attack. And with Casemiro playing his way into the team, Utd'll have TWO excellent link-up players. One with defensive flair, one with offensive flair. I know it's early yet, but I'm feeling more optimistic with EtH at the helm, than I've felt since Sir Alex retired. EtH is a total strategist and detail oriented manager. His training sessions look so exceptionally structured and purposeful. And he's hands-on, he actually coaches them in training and during games, barking out input/commands. I love Ole, but hated his hands-off style. I don't think that 'oldboy' style of coaching works so well in the modern game.

This is a really exciting team to watch. Bruno Fernandes has been held to such high expectations that he's quite underrated at the moment. That pass with the outside of the right foot to open the heart of Arsenal's defense was just sublime. He played the key pass in the counter that led to the third one as well. And Christian Eriksen's style of play reminds me of Paul Scholes in the latter half of his career. Such a great metronome!
