That smile on his face as he steps on the training ground must've gave him goosebumps from head to toe....reminding him of the first time he set foot here with Sir Alex Ferguson and squad. This is probably his best moment, not even close to his happiness when he joined Madrid, Juventus combined.

Its less that and more he is bringing a much older playstyle back to United. Something the club hasnt had since Moyes left. Ole has tried bringing it back but its different when your coach is telling you how to do it from seeing someone you play with doing it, especially someone like Ronaldo who has an infectious pull about him

@@rezaF_ Madrid was his dream, but he loves United more as they gave him the platform to thrive upon, without United there is no Madrid for him, he respects that and now wants to give back to the club he loves. Yeah he's old but he's quality and his impact on the other players will be brilliant no doubt, for example Pogba might actually put effort into every game now knowing Ronaldo will be on his neck if he slacks off.

He began training with confidence at utd when he was 18 and didn't even speak English... then after 2 PFA awards and a Ballon d'Or, he started training with Real Madrid during a new Galácticos era for them with even more self assurance. 450goals in 438games in Spain, doing well in Italy, and winning the Euros with his country... he's confident in the right manner. He's earned his self belief. Now the pressure is off slightly as well. He's joining a young talented group and at 36 he'll mostly want to enjoy it. He will still want to win more trophies though. It's just down to the younger players to run the distances he used to and get him into scoring positions.
